Libraries
The Fritt Ord Foundation invites applications for annual subsidies for literature programmes at Norwegian public libraries.
The objective of the call for applications is to strengthen libraries as an arena for communications and to arouse interest in reading and the literary debate. Libraries, organisations and private individuals can apply. The programme has one annual deadline, usually in June.
Applications are invited from public libraries, or from individuals or organisations that have an event agreement with a library. Applications for funding may be for individual events or for series of events. Applicants are asked to draft a project outline that explains the theme, activities and time frame. Please attach a budget and funding plan.
