What are the consequences of the case against Julian Assange? Will Investigative journalism increasingly become criminalized under the pretext of safeguarding national security?

Ben Wizner is the director of the ACLU’s Speech, Privacy, and Technology Project. For nearly 15 years, he has worked at the intersection of civil liberties and national security and has been the principal legal advisor to Edward Snowden.

Heidi Taksdal Skjeseth is a Norwegian journalist and author. From 2022 she will hold the position as Istanbul correspondent for NRK.
