Fritt Ord acquires Wergelandsveien 29

This past summer, it was announced that the Fritt Ord Foundation would be buying Wergelandsveien 29 in Oslo, the building in which the House of Literature Foundation has its activities. The seller was Entra, which has owned the building since the beginning.
Such processes take time, and the hand-over was scheduled for the end of this month, just one week before the House of Literature will be celebrating its 10th anniversary. On Friday, Entra and Fritt Ord met at the House of Literature to hand over keys and deal with all the practical aspects of the transaction. The House of Literature Building is now owned by Fritt Ord.
