September 15 2015

Indie Film, the Fritt Ord Foundation and Tour de Force have the pleasure to invite the public to a screening of Ida’s Diary at Victoria Cinema at 5.30 p.m. on 15 September.

The documentary film will be followed by a discussion about mental health and openness, featuring Ida Storm and Adrian Lorentsson, representing the Norwegian Association of Youth Mental Health. The discussion will be moderated by Ingvild Berg, editor of Aftenposten’s Si ;D.

About the film
Ida is a girl who struggles with a turbulent emotional life a result of histrionic personality disorder (borderline). Over the past eight years, Ida has made a video diary to help calm her anger and structure her thoughts. Through her diary, we get unique insight into a world of fear and angst, but also valuable glimpses of everyday victories and self-discovery. Most importantly, we get to witness her struggle for self-acceptance and genuine appreciation of life.

IDA’S DIARY is a film about hope. About finding one’s own identity and daring to live life.
