Has Islam been hijacked by radical extremists who are actively trying to destroy the values on which Western society rests? Should the world be concerned? This film is a personal odyssey through the Muslim world, moving from key intellectuals who have to live with threats from modern Islamism to the top echelons of the worldwide movement known as the Muslim Brotherhood.

Author Walid al-Kubaisi is the film’s narrator and tour guide. From Yemen to Cairo, from Oslo to Paris, the audience joins him on his travels, gaining unique and revealing insight into anti-democratic forces that have built up astonishing influence in the Western world.

This is not a film about Islam, but rather about the threat posed by radical Islamists. Only a tiny percentage of the world’s Muslims are radical, but people are listening to them, and they are gaining growing influence in the West. This film is about them.

According to the film team, the documentary reveals how the Muslim Brotherhood rejects Western values and culture, and how they wield their religion as part of a clear strategy to accrue power in Western societies: Not through violence and threats, but by infiltrating and undermining democracy from the inside.
