The journal Liberali from Tbilisi has very quickly carved out a position as one of the most influential printed media in Georgia.
The journal presents relevant political discussions, for example, on changes in voting rights or on the conflict in Abkhazia.
The journal was nominated by the Norwegian Helsinki Committee and the Human Rights House Foundation, Oslo. The prize is EUR 10 000.
