Fritt Ord Foundation grants for critics awarded

The Fritt Ord Foundation has now awarded their annual grants to critics. At NOK 200 000 each, the grants should result in a steady stream of reviews during the period from August 2018 to August 2019. The grant scheme was established in 2015, and 11 grants are being awarded this year.

Of the 42 applications recieved, grants were awarded to the following individuals: Aage Storm Borchgrevink (factual prose etc., Dagbladet), Emil Henrik Flatø (ideas, art and culture, Morgenbladet), Kjersti Juul (dramatic art, Vårt Land), Oda Bhar Lurås (pictorial art, etc., Morgenbladet), Gabriel Moro (fiction, VG), Eivind Myklebust (factual prose and fiction, Klassekampen), Jon Rognlien (factual prose and fiction, Dagbladet), Per Christian Selmer-Anderssen (dramatic art, Aftenposten), Janne Karin Støylen (literature for children, Dag og Tid), Margunn Vikingstad (fiction, Morgenbladet) and Hilde Østby (factual prose, Aftenposten).
