How does big journalistic collaborations like Panama Papers and Pandora Papers come about and how can they contribute to promoting international justice and democratic change?
The Fritt Ord Foundation and the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo host a meeting with Gerard Ryle, Director of The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), as part of the series Nobel Peace Talks. The series highligt topics related to the Nobel Peace Prize to Maria Ressa and Dmitry Muratov.
Ryle will appear in conversation with Per Anders Johansen, journalist in the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten and ICIJ Member. The conversation will be moderated by managing editor Ingeborg Eliassen from Investigate Europe.
ICIJ is an independent global network of 280 investigative journalists and over 100 media organizations spanning more than 100 countries. Fritt Ord has supported ICIJ since 2018 and is also a supporter of Investigate Europe since 2017.
